First units have delivered and Daniel welcomed residents at Brezza, (pronounced bréz‧za and is Italian for Breeze) a 330-luxury apartment home project in South Austin. Brezza is the first development in Austin for the Birmingham, Alabama-based company.
“We have been surprised at the velocity of leasing and move-ins. The traffic, leases, and move-ins in fourth quarter look more like peak leasing season,” said Justin Weintraub, Executive Vice President of Daniel, the Birmingham developer responsible for Brezza. “It is our intent to grow our presence in Austin with additional multifamily developments.”
Brezza will deliver 13 3-story residential buildings on 19.1 acres with impressive luxury interiors including amenities such as contemporary Energy Star stainless steel appliances, hardwood-inspired flooring, energy efficient light fixtures, garden style bathtubs, stand-up frameless tiled showers, custom closets, wine coolers, personal balconies, and select private pet yards.
Preservation efforts at the site produced a 4-acre natural area with Live Oak Trees creating a forest-type environment with pocket parks, nature areas, a Frisbee golf course, and a fitness trail. Other community amenities include a strength & cardio center, poolside outdoor kitchen, resort-style saltwater pool, coffee bar, gaming area, pet spa, dog park, package concierge, and outdoor fireside retreat.
The Brezza location is in close proximity to Austin’s top employers and Southpark Meadows shopping center, just off I-35 on Old San Antonio Road and is scheduled to be fully delivered in March, 2018.
Daniel Corporation is developing Brezza in partnership with CNL Growth Properties and BB&T is providing the construction financing. The project’s design and construction team includes Plageman Architecture, Kimley-Horn Engineering, Coleman & Associates Landscape Architects, Focus Design Studios, and Rampart Construction.
