										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The acquisition marks the latest in a series of over $100 MM in new investments by the firm in and around the Birmingham Metro area.</p>
<p>Daniel Corporation announces the acquisition of the 392 unit Grand Highlands of Mountain Brook apartment community located on Overton Road in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. The acquisition together with Daniel’s Vestavia Reserve community furthers the firms operations in the metro area and when combined with several strategic office acquisitions increases Daniel’s recent investments in Birmingham commercial properties to over $100 MM on aggregate.</p>

<p>The acquisition of Grand Highlands follows a series of transformative investments and developments undertaken by Daniel Corporation in the Birmingham market over the past several years. These include the award winning Lane Parke mixed use development in Mountain Brook, Patchwork Farms in Vestavia Hills and Grandview Medical Center along the 280 corridor in southern Birmingham.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><em>Justin Weintraub Now Leads Multifamily Business</em></strong></p>
<p>Birmingham-based Daniel announced that Justin Weintraub has been appointed Executive Vice President of the real estate firm founded in 1964. Justin will be leading Daniel’s multifamily business, which consists of active investments in over $230M of assets across the Sunbelt and a pipeline of an additional $250M comprised of both new developments and existing assets that the company expects to commence investment on in the next 12 months.</p>
<p>Prior to joining Daniel, Justin spent 10 years at Colonial Properties Trust, where he was a Senior Vice President and was responsible for over $1 Billion of Multifamily asset transactions during his tenure.</p>
<p>“Justin has been an outstanding producer and leader within the organization since the day he joined us,” explained Pat Henry, Daniel President. “Our company has made a significant investment in the multifamily sector over the past few years and have we have no intentions of slowing down.  We are excited to have Justin leading this charge on our behalf.”</p>
<p>Mr. Weintraub said, “Our company and our partners have enjoyed tremendous results in the multifamily space, and we are well positioned to continue that track record moving forward. This success is a direct result of the outstanding team at Daniel, and I’m fortunate to work alongside some of the most talented individuals in our industry.</p>
<p>Justin received his Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and is a CCIM designee. Justin is involved in supporting and volunteering his time with numerous civic organizations in Birmingham including the Birmingham Rotary Club, the Birmingham Jewish Federation, the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, and previously served as President and Chair of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham. In 2013, <strong>Justin was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal.</strong></p>

<p>Construction is underway on Brezza, <em>(pronounced </em><em>bréz</em><em>‧</em><em>za and is Italian for Breeze) </em>a 330-luxury apartment home project in South Austin. Brezza features 13 3-story residential buildings on 19.1 acres, and a desirable mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment units.</p>
<p>“Great care has been taken to preserve a 4 acre natural area with Live Oak Trees creating a forest-type environment with pocket parks, nature areas, a Frisbee golf course, and a fitness trail.” stated Justin Weintraub, Vice President of Daniel. “This, along with the generous list of community and apartment amenities, will set Brezza apart from other apartment communities in the submarket.”</p>
<p>Impressive luxury interiors include amenities such as contemporary Energy Star stainless steel appliances, hardwood-inspired flooring, energy efficient light fixtures, garden style bathtubs, stand-up frameless tiled showers, custom closets, personal balconies, and select private pet yards. Community amenities include a strength &amp; cardio center, poolside outdoor kitchen, resort-style saltwater pool, coffee bar, gaming area, common area Wi-Fi, entertaining kitchen in clubhouse, pet spa, dog park, package concierge, and outdoor fireside retreat.</p>
<p>The Brezza location is also in close proximity to Austin’s top employers and Southpark Meadows shopping center, just off I-35 on Old San Antonio Road and is scheduled to deliver first units in September 2017.</p>
<p>Daniel Corporation is developing Brezza in partnership with CNL Growth Properties and BB&amp;T is providing the construction financing. The project’s design and construction team includes Plageman Architecture, Kimley-Horn Engineering, Coleman &amp; Associates Landscape Architects, Focus Design Studios, and Rampart Construction.</p>

<p><strong>The 292-Unit Haywood Reserve Sees Strong Demand</strong></p>
<p>Haywood Reserve, the area’s newest luxury apartment community, is seeing strong demand even before the project is 100% complete. Daniel Corporation, one of the Southeast Region’s most active real estate development, management and investment rms, recently held the Grand Opening of the $35M Haywood Reserve in Greenville, South Carolina and already leased and occupied units are well ahead of expectation. The community currently sits at 25% leased as of the end of July. The community is slated for completion in October of 2016.</p>
