Scott is responsible for financial analysis across all property types. This includes development feasibility, as well as acquisitions and dispositions. As an integral part of the investment team, Scott manages project underwriting, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling for all development and investment pursuits.

Prior to joining Daniel in 2007, Scott held various financial positions with Saks Incorporated, the last of which was Director of Financial Analysis, where he played a major role in the company’s real estate and capital allocation processes. This included the divesture of the company’s regional department store divisions. Prior to Saks, Scott was a financial analyst for HealthPartners (now Viva Health) and an instructor in the Economics, Finance and Legal Studies department at the University of Alabama. Scott has a PhD in Finance from the University of Alabama, an MBA from Minnesota State Mankato and a BS from the University of Minnesota.
