Chase is responsible for the financial operations of Daniel and its affiliates. This principally includes all corporate, property and development accounting, company-wide budgeting and forecasting, cash management, tax compliance and internal and external financial reporting. He also assists in the structuring and financing of project investments. Additionally, Chase directs Daniel’s and its affiliates’ collective IT and risk management functions. Chase joined Daniel in June 2021.

Prior to Daniel, Chase spent 15+ years with EY as an assurance professional serving a variety of public and private clients and internal stakeholders in EY’s Memphis, Chicago and Birmingham offices. Select clients served include Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAA), FedEx and AutoZone. Chase was a member of EY’s global Real Estate, Airlines and Consumer Products & Retail networks, and also led local EY office market initiatives, including new business development, talent acquisition and EY alumni communications. In 2019, he was selected to the 2021 class of Global NextGen, EY’s premier 17-month partner pipeline development program.

Chase holds degrees as a Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, both from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and is a Certified Public Accountant (Active) in the state of Alabama. He is involved with the United Way of Central Alabama where he has previously served on the campaign steering committee for architects, engineers and real estate, and is an active member and elected officer of Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.
